U.S. Highway 136 detour

During the closure of Nodaway County U.S. Highway 136 at each bridge, motorists will be directed by a signed detour on State Routes F, N and W, according to the MoDOT website. The construction of the Mozingo Creek Bridge, located west of Liberty Road, will be completed first. Once the Mozingo Creek Bridge reopens construction of the Long Branch Bridge, located east of Liberty Road, will begin. Only local traffic will be permitted to access U.S. Highway 136 between Routes EE and E up to the closed bridge.
