MARYVILLE, Mo. — The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce has announced its recently updated logo and brand.

During the past several years, the chamber board of directors and staff members worked to create a look that focuses on its mission.

According to a news release, the logo is deliberately simple so as not to be weighed down by too many designs or symbols, but focused on its mission, which is to communicate the strength of the Maryville and Nodaway County business community, standing firmly on the three fundamental pillars: advocacy, connection and promotion.

“The board of directors is proud to represent the members of the Chamber of Commerce. Our community is progressive and deserves a chamber that looks as impressive as our businesses are,” said Gentry Martin, chamber board president. “We are so glad to finally share all the hard work that’s gone into our brand update.”

In conjunction with its brand update, the chamber has released the latest edition of the Chamber Viewbook, highlighting chamber members and extended information about the community, such as demographics, school and business information as well as annual events.

The books are distributed across the state of Missouri as well as Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska tourism bureaus and to individuals considering relocation to Nodaway County.
