REDDING, Mo. — Kent Blunck from Des Moines visited with Charles Abarr on Thursday.

Sunday lunch guests at Jerry and Peggy Overholser’s were John and Lesa Darrah, Alexis and Dalton Darrah, Tucker Darrah, Rachel Sobotka, BayLee Darrah, Aaron Overholser and Jeremiah and Colt Overholser. Jerry and Peggy Overholser and Jeanette and Rodger Todd went to the Wishard Chapel soup supper Saturday night at the Legion building in Mount Ayr.

Kathy and Dan Quick called on Berta Quick at the Estates in Mount Ayr on Saturday, while Ginny Quick, Carrie Main, Rebecca Smith and family visited on Friday. Also on Friday, Kathy went to the movie with Sue Quall at the Princess theater. Kathy also visited Dorothy Barber at Heritage Park during the week.

Ginny went to the Elmer family reunion in Osceola on Sunday. Bryson Smith from Ames also attended the family reunion. Ginny went to Calvin Main’s basketball game Monday night in Mount Ayr and she attended the Worth County Retired Teachers’ lunch in Albany on Tuesday. On Friday Ginny went to Roxanne and Kurtis Wimer’s open house at their new home in Mount Ayr. Rebecca, Cliff and Kaden Smith were overnight guests at Ginny’s on Saturday. Louden Main and friends were overnight guests at Ginny’s on Friday. Jan and Melinda Shervheim and family were guests of Sandy and Jeff Wigdahl in Ames for Thanksgiving on Saturday.

Cindy and Dick Snethen spent Monday through Saturday in Eugene, Oregon, where they attended the funeral of Dick’s brother Don on Friday. They visited with Gary and Linda Brand and family in Indianola on Sunday.

Bobbi Bainum attended a 4-H leaders’ meeting Wednesday night at the Extension office in Mount Ayr. Preston Hayse and Bobbi went to the Old Towne Café Thursday night for supper. Bobbi visited with Lena Hunt and Lesa Hargrave and sons Sunday afternoon in Grant City.
