MARYVILLE, Mo. — Spoofhound baseball placed three seniors among the Class 4 District 16 All-District selections released on Monday. 

Adam Becker was selected as a pitcher. He finished the season with a team-leading 28 innings pitched in nine appearances including six starts. The senior had a 5.75 ERA with a 38-24 strikeout to walk ratio.

Becker was also effective with the bat in his hand. He led the team with a .408 batting average along with a .500 on-base percentage.

Tyler Houchin was the everyday first baseman for the Hounds and was also an all-district pick. The three-hole hitter slugged a team-leading 21 RBI with a .389 batting average and a .500 on-base percentage. 

Houchin also pitched for the Hounds with a 5.53 ERA in 25.1 innings. He struck out 25 with 21 walks. 

Tyson Arnold held down the Spoofhound lead-off and center field spots all season. Arnold batted .340 with a .410 on-base percentage. He was third on the team with 12 runs scored.
