The Spoofhounds won their fifth-straight district title by beating Savannah 5-4 in the Hound Pound. 

MARYVILLE, Mo. — The Spoofhounds had a season that ended in a run to the state quarterfinals rewarded with eight selections on the All-Midland Empire Conference selections and All-District selections. 

Junior forward Morgan Pettlon was a first-team selection for both the conference and the district. She battled injuries all season, but still led the Hounds in goals and assists with 42 goals and eight assists.

Senior defender Aubrey Jones was the only other Spoofhound to make both the all-conference and all-district first teams. The team captain was a key piece in front of junior goalkeeper Laney Graham.

Graham was selected as a first team all-district choice and an honorable mention all-conference pick. Graham had 132 saves and six shutouts.

Junior Addison Hall was another primary offensive threat and was second on the team with 10 goals and five assists. She was a first team All-MEC selection and second-team all-district. 

Natalie Gallaher and Cassidy Spire joined Jones as mainstays of the Spoofhound defense and each received recognition. Gallaher was first team all-district and honorable mention all-conference. Spire was second team all-district and honorable mention all-conference. 

Victoria Allen was a second team all-district and honorable mention all-conference mid-fielder. Allen finished the year with three goals and two assists.

Freshman Lauren Cullin was a second-team All-MEC selection. She finished the season with three assists and a pair of goals. 

Freshman Cleo Johnson was injured for much of the season but made enough of an impression early in the year to be selected as an honorable mention All-MEC mid-fielder. She had five goals and two assists. 

Sophomore Blake Springer rounded out to honorees by earning a second-team spot on the all-district team.
