Richard Wallie Campbell


Richard Wallie Campbell, 80, Holt, Missouri, formerly of Kearney, Osborn, and Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on August 22, 2019, at the Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri.

Richard was born on October 24, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Wallie Gray and Margaret B. (Roberts) Campbell. Richard graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in Kansas City. He served his country in the Air Force. Richard worked as a mechanical and civil engineer and previously was employed with Kenworth & Dart Trucking Co., Booker & Willis, and retired as the manager at Leavenworth Steel, Leavenworth, Kansas.

He was married to Beverly Worley and she passed away in 2010. He was also preceded by his parents, daughter-Lynn Ann Campbell, and brother-David T. Campbell.

Survivors: Sons, John Lee (Wife-Gayla) Campbell, Maryville, Missouri, and Richard Lewis (Wife-Denise) Campbell, Holt, Missouri; eight grandchildren, John Lee Campbell, Jr., Mark Campbell, Fairann Campbell, Shaun Campbell, Janel Campbell, Krissy Roberts, Nicole Campbell, and Chloe Campbell; and six great-grandchildren.

Cremation entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the City Union Mission, Kansas City, Missouri.
