Pauline Hoyt, age 100, of Burlington Junction, Missouri entered into peace Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Nodaway Nursing Home. Funeral Celebration of Life Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Burlington Junction. There will be no visitation prior to services. Interment will be held at the Quitman Cemetery in Quitman, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to Quitman Cemetery Fund. Pauline Hoyt was born January 7, 1919, in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Tony McElroy and Mable (Lister) McElroy. On June 30, 1937 she was united in marriage to Harold Hoyt.
She is preceded in death by her husband; a son, Harland Hoyt; a foster daughter, Virginia Zimmerman; a great-granddaughter, Whitney Dowis; her parents; and 11 siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia McIntyre of Burlington Junction, Missouri; Sheila Gray of Burlington Junction, Missouri; and Sherry Camp of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sons-in-law, Larry McIntyre and Doyle Gray; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; two siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
