FERGUSON, Mo. — A Northwest Missouri State University student was killed Tuesday in a shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, local media reported.
Kylan Harrell, 22, was reportedly found with a gunshot wound around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No more information was released by police.
According to a university news release, Harrell was a junior organizational communication major. He served as president of the university’s Alpha Phi Alpha chapter, was active in the Men’s Minority Organization and was a student representative for the Black Alumni Chapter of the Northwest Alumni Association.
