MARYVILLE, Mo. — After successfully completing a rigorous evaluation process, patients at Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville will now have access to the tools and services offered through the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

This is a really big deal,” said MMCM CEO Nate Blackford at a press conference Tuesday morning. “The opportunity to be a part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network is one that we have been seeking for some time.”

The addition to the network will allow doctors in Maryville to consult with Mayo Clinic physicians across the country, have access to Mayo's libraries of guidelines and treatment recommendations, and the ability to bring complex cases to Mayo's eBoards, which are comprised of multidisciplinary specialists to help with complicated diagnoses.

Mosaic Life Care Medical Center in St. Joseph is already a member of the network, and Mosaic Medical Center – Albany was added at the same time as the one in Maryville. Mosaic is one of 40 independent health systems worldwide that has been carefully vetted by Mayo Clinic and made part of the network.

The service comes at no additional cost to patients.
