MARYVILLE, Mo. — Each hour on the hour May 16, one member of the Class of 2033 graduated from Pre-K at the Mosaic Child Care and Education Center.

This year’s class is the final class to graduate from the center, due to its scheduled closing in August and this year’s graduation looked a little different.

“Unfortunately, due to COVID, the center did not have the children all walk across the stage as is tradition,” Rita Miller, Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville community relations manager wrote in an email to The Forum.

During each ceremony one child and his or her family were celebrated and participated in a photo shoot to celebrate heading off to kindergarten in the fall.

In between each ceremony, center staff disinfected the area in order to stay as clean as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The center’s final graduates are as follows: Austin Feick, Beckett Gesser, Jaylee Search, Raiden Stanton, Olivia Pierce, Rylee Pariseau, MJ (Michael) Cothran, Stella Pruitt, AJ (Aidan) Hull, and Ryleigh Wardlow.
