MARYVILLE, Mo. — Just west of Maryville in a field north of State Highway 46 is Dot Family Farms and Friday was opening night of the second annual Rust Under the Stars festival which is scheduled to continue from 9 a.m to midnight on Saturday, Sept. 21.

With 100 percent of the proceeds to be given to Camp Quality Northwest Missouri, the $5 entry fee at Rust Under the Stars will help to ensure that every child diagnosed with cancer has a chance at a summer camp experience as well as year-round programs to enhance their quality of life and encourage quality family time.

Music during the event will be provided by Curtis Wayne Stroud & Justified, John D Neal, Finding Dixie, Garry Lincoln, Porter Union and Hatch.

A tractor and engine show is scheduled for Saturday as well as a pancake breakfast and the Maryville Farmers Market will held on site as well. Games for all ages will be available and also a silent auction.

Food trucks will be on site including: 102 BBQ, Groovy Grub, Kool Kats, Ugly Duck Trucker's Delight Kettle Corn, Grill Sergeant BBQ, Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits and Backyard Wine and Vine.

Cost to enter is $5. Children age 5 and younger enter free. Camping is available on site $30 per weekend. For more information email
