Spoofy Beans appreciates Ten Squared Women

Spoofy Beans, an extracurricular activity at Maryville High School that helps train students for post-secondary employment opportunities, in April was the recipient of $8,400 in donations from Ten Squared Women of Nodaway County. Thursday morning, this year’s students invited Ten Squared founder Amanda Twaddle to their newly remodeled kitchen to show their appreciation and for her to see how the funds were used. The next meeting of Ten Squared Women is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 in the Spoofy Spot, Room 108 of the high school. According to Twaddle, Spoofy Beans will be serving drinks at the event.
