MARYVILLE, Mo. — The Ziegler Ag Equipment implement dealership on Highway 71 just northwest of Maryville will undergo a major expansion later this year.
A release issued by Ziegler CAT, the Minneapolis, Minnesota, corporation of which Ziegler Ag is a division, stated that expansion and remodeling of the current location will take place over the spring and summer, doubling the size of the facility to approximately 24,000 square feet.
According to the release, the project will embrace 10,000 additional square feet of shop space, including eight repair and maintenance bays, two five-ton cranes and tool cribs.
Another 2,000 square feet of new construction is to house meeting rooms, an expanded parts warehouse and a retail showroom.
Ziegler Ag sells AGCO and CLAAS farm implements, and the Maryville location offers Challenger and Massey Ferguson tractors and haying equipment, CLAAS combines, RoGators, TerraGators, White Planters and Sunflower tillage gear.
The release stated that a daily shuttle connects the Maryville operation with Ziegler’s 26 other locations in order to provide customers with timely parts availability.
In addition, the dealership provides in-shop and field service as well as emergency field service during planting and harvest seasons.
As part of the project, the existing structure will be fully remodeled with old and new sections designed to mesh architecturally and function as a single building.
“The Maryville expansion will greatly improve our customer service in Missouri by expanding the parts and service capabilities that we offer to our customers,” Ziegler Ag President Andreas Hoeft said.
Founded in 1914, Ziegler is a family-owned company employing 1,900 people in 27 communities in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Missouri. The Maryville location was established in 2012.
