MARYVILLE, Mo. — Responding to the rolling call of auctioneer Frank Hoepker, bidders representing some of the area's leading agribusinesses and other enterprises signaled their offers in the show ring Thursday, July 18, during the 2019 Nodaway County 4-H/FFA Livestock Premium Sale.

The annual youth livestock show and sale serves as the traditional kickoff off for the Nodaway County Fair and takes place at the Community Building arena just west of town.

About 50 4-H and FFA youth offered animals during this year's auction after showing their animals and claiming ribbons and prizes during the course of the three-day show.

Show and sale categories included sheep, swine, beef, dairy, goats, rabbits and poultry.
