MARYVILLE, Mo. —  Bank Midwest hosted an Entrepreneur Showcase in its community room last week. Several local business owners brought products to raise awareness about their businesses. 

“It’s worked out really well,” said Keli Morris, with Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation. “We’ve had a steady stream of people. It’s a nice way for people to network.”

She said several business owners she works with at Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation were at the event.

Mandy Sevits, owner of Nourish You, was at the event last week.

Her business offers a wide variety of locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients as part of a meal preparation and delivery/pickup service. 

She also will hold a business celebration at 3 p.m. on May 8 at the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce office.

Rick Freese worked with Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation to open his business Rick’s Kustom Designs and Kool Collectibles in Grant City.

His business offers antiques and collectible items, and also screen printing and vinyl work.
